A movie version of the crime series “Luther” is moving forward, with writer-creator Neil Cross working on the script, the show’s star Idris Elba confirmed at the launch of Season 5 in London.

Good luck with that one, because unless movie goers find Alice Morgan in traction at the beginning of the big screen treatment, we may see scenes reminiscent of “Rock around the Clock” when Teddy Boys ripped up seats across the nation.

I’m deadly serious. I’m quite docile, but I was VERY upset with the end of series 5. We need Alice to regularly pull Luther over to the dark side. Remove her from the equation, and our hero may be in danger of becoming just another cop on the beat…………….
