Amy Nuttall’s career has come a long way since she left “Emmerdale Farm” twenty one years ago.

She was just 18 when she was cast in the role back in 2000, and she stayed in the soap for four years where her character was embroiled in plenty of headline grabbing storylines, including Chloe having an affair with her boyfriend’s best friend. I don’t watch soaps – never have done and never will – but she reportedly made a big impact amongst viewers.

Since then, Amy Nuttall has gone on to enjoy success in a number of high-profile shows including fan favourite “Downton Abbey,” (now I am a devoted fan of that particular production), and ITV’s real-life drama “Mr Bates v The Post Office.”

Subsequent appearances in the BBC’s crime series “Death in Paradise” andn “Silent Witness” have further enhanced her reputation.
